Quick review of the Good Food & Wine Show #melbourne Christmas Market at the Royal Exhibition Building this weekend:
wine, wine, gin, wine, some other spirit, chocolate, wine, wine, wine, gin, chocolate, some cookies and butter, bon bons, wine, and some more wine.
Only saw one stand with plumb puddings.
Feel free to dm me if you’re interested. Polywork changed the link not long after I posted it.
A restaurant we used to go to in Soho (London, England) had the odd habit of seating strangers together. We’d begin the meal with just the two of us at the table, but then two random strangers would be seated with us at our booth. Or we’d arrive and find the restaurant looking pretty full, but there would be space for us at somebody else’s table, so we’d be put there.
I loved this; we met such interesting people. I often wonder if any other restaurants do this. Do you know of any?
Having students live with seniors seems like such a good idea, one wonders why this hasn’t been a standard thing all along.
I have to go to the bank and deposit a cheque. Nearly forgotten that these still exist. #darkagestech
Libraries will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no libraries.
Are there any cafe's in #melbourne that have social tables where, if you sit there, you are encouraged to engage in conversation with others?
I see large tables in cafes usually occupied with students and laptops who are not keen to chat, however it would be great for social connection if there were tables where you were encouraged to talk with others. It would help with the social epidemic of isolation and loneliness.
#Bachata dance classes at The Salsa Foundation in the #Melbourne CBD are short a few women/followers on the Monday and Tuesday night classes so they are offering two for one for those who want to attend both nights.

PS. I'm a student at the studio but otherwise no other affiliation with the business.
Ok #mastodon, let’s show our true colors.
Reblog this if you’re a champion of the Oxford comma.
We’re officially friends.
I'm working towards my professional coaching accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and need to accumulate a certain number of hours before I can submit my application.
While I have been coaching for over 10 years, I can only claim hours after the accredited training course.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll send a calendar link so you can book in your session, straight away.
Weather in Melbourne again inhospitable to being outdoors. Four #WBBL08 cricket matches on. Sunday sorted.
