SBS just published an article on how to follow their news posts without Facebook, which made no mention of their RSS feed which is how I saw the damned thing they posted.

@jimbob @mike remember back in the day when people were complaining that RSS was making homepages obsolete and harming new website discovery leading to market consolidation?

@mike This is the perfect opportunity for Australian news media to push RSS as an alternative model to Facebook. Everybody going "Don't worry guys just install our app!" isn't competitive. An alternative news feed is how you beat Facebook. They probably forgot it exists
