Hey Fediverse, is there a good, lightweight, free, modern looking support ticketing system I can deploy on a little server in a corner somewhere to assign ticket numbers to incoming emails and give me some simple tools to track case history etc?

My needs are very simple but it's also very important to me that I don't send clients into something that looks like it's from 1997.

@mike 4all that simple stuff "OTRS communityedition" is good enough. 1997 ... that was win95-time? OTRS original comes from SuSE.

@mike we used to use RT at one of my old webhosting jobs. it's free and very extensible but it used to look like shit 5 years ago, so you might need to see if it suits your needs or not bestpractical.com/request-trac
