While going through old blog posts of mine from the early 21st century, I found one where I asked if anyone wanted to buy my C64 and 1541 disk drive and I want to go back in time and slap myself on the back of the head.
Still, this raises questions as I'm pretty sure I currently have a C64 deep in the back shed, but I don't think I have a 1541. Did I separate them for some reason? Why? Where did they go?
@dirkolmes I probably would still have it if I'd had anything resembling a stable home in the last 15 years, but I've moved so many times I can't really blame myself for wanting to cut back on some stuff.
I'm envious of your basement, basically.
@mike See that's why I kept my combo buried in the basement. I only wonder if I will find a TV to connect the C64 to if I ever dig it out to play with it. AFAIR it only had an antenna out. Modern TVs usually don't come with that kind of ancient connectors any more.
