I can't get anything done because I keep getting interrupted, and it makes me want to fucking die.

I'd like you all to know how hard it was for me not to carve "NO FATE" into this table.

Alright, so, I'm no longer a delegate. Simply didn't have the time to keep up with it to do the quality of work I wanted.

SO, now I'm just working on writing the (research) implementation of an experimental on-chain governance tool of my design.

Learned so I can manage the code infinitely better, literally. (Dunno why I didn't do this before. 🤔 )

Now experimenting with . Not sure it fits my use case, though. Is it really useful for small research programs?

@bignose I don't have anything against a phone in principle, mainly what I have a problem with is how they're handled in modern society and technology; they're a must, and I think that's wrong.

@bignose Additionally, why should I have to give that information to some company just so I can use their service? I'm fine if I'm going to be logging in that way, but then just let my use my phone number as my username and, even barring that, forgo email altogether, do everything through SMS--here in the 21st century we can do that pretty easily 🤣.

Let me pick just one, rather than forcing me to use everything under the sun.

@christopher We need to say this to friends and loved ones

so that, when someone designs a mandatory interface to something we need — say, a ticketed event or a payment station or a government service

there can be a chance they will remember not everyone carries a cell phone with them everywhere.

Because some people don't have the luxury we have of *choosing* whether to carry one; they need us to object and demand accessibility, safely, before they must endanger themselves doing so.

@KolokokoBird Didn't see this until just now. Thank you for the kind comment!

I'm finding their model very interesting... I may incorporate elements of it into my Flow Governance model.

The timing of this proposal annoys me. I'm reading up on THORChain now and I'm intrigued, so far it really seems like I would have given the project a FOR.

But I do not vote on projects that I research after they go to vote, even if the vote is still active when I complete my work; I only vote on Mondays, and the rest of the week is used to research outstanding proposals. These two rules, among others, form the foundation of my workflow; they do not change.

In the linked vote, I voted solely for Arbitrum even though it is a ranked vote. The reasons are:

-I'm thoroughly against Polygon/Matic as that system currently stands.
-I know enough about Arbitrum to know that it's a better choice.
-I don't know enough about the other options to rank them nor have I the time to research them to make any sort of considered vote.

That's not to say Arbitrum is the best choice, it may not be, but Polygon is certainly not that.

is an Ethereum sidechain... But the whole thing is held together by a fucking 5-of-8 multisig.

WHAT?! 🤣 How has this shit not been fucking burned in effigy??

is a thoroughly interesting project. I've just spent the morning reading everything on their website. I'm thoroughly impressed with what I've found, and I think that has needed permissionless on-chain underwriting for quite some time; it opens up countless doors for lending opportunities! 😁

Does my car need a small media server for tunes while I'm way off-grid? My audio tape styled SSD enclosure suggests that the answer is "yes".

This rant has been a long time coming. What finally prompted it was my co-worker saying something about it for the umpteenth time; I'm fed up with it.

@sengi_app What are the odds of getting a "minimize to system tray" feature? 😁 Would really love that!

I'm pretty excited about the Wootrade community's interest in Bancor! I've been reviewing the project's website, and their business model seems sound.

Having them onboard is going to bring value to Bancor Liquidity Providers!
