Being someone who refuses to engage with any Facebook products on ethical grounds is like trying to live as a vegetarian when all your friends refuse to meet anywhere other than one specific steakhouse.
I've been perusing my other social media timelines this morning. So many people expressing ill will toward people who have a different opinion. It's very discouraging to see. At least I have my small circle of friends who are willing to love each other through our differences.

Hello. I've been on Twitter since 2008, and have developed a lot of friendships there. Even though I'd like to leave Twitter behind, only two of my friends from there are interested in joining me. This to me, seems to be the biggest challenge in sustaining a new social media network. How do you attract new members and convince them to leave an established platform behind?
